ABOUT US

From 25th April 2013 to 28th April 2013 this is the conference that you can’t miss!

We are group of students, from Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão, a School of Higher Education in Health close to Lisbon in Portugal. The school belongs to the biggest national charity institution: Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa. The school started with the collaboration of an international group and since then our international connection has been growing and it is the benchmark to our development.

In the same line, the IPSM is an initiative of Portuguese students and lecturers in collaboration of Dutch, English and Danish lecturers.

The Internacional Physiotherapy Students Meeting 2013, with the theme “Present Minds, Future Hands - Aim Higher” will be the perfect opportunity for students of all over the world to gather, in a unique event, and build friendships, share experiences and at the same time gain important knowledge in the Neuromusculoskeletal domain.

The Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal, on the south-west tip of Europe. It is Europe’s sunniest spot where the finest beaches and weather on the continent meet traditional historic Portugal. This is why we decided it would be the best location to host such an event like IPSM ’13, joining the pleasure of the sunny weather and beautiful beaches with the learning experience that the program provides.
The event will take place at the Alfagar Aparthotel in Albufeira where the participants will be lodged and all activities will go on. This Aparthotel comprises a water slide, enviable location within easy reach of Albufeira, outstanding views overlooking the sea, and has direct access to the Santa Eulália beach.
